Refadim Community Empowerment is a registered non-governmental and not for profit making organization. Irtd was established in the belief that by sharing resources, knowledge, and skills, democracy in South Africa and beyond would be strengthened. To further this aim, Refadim Community Empowerment strengthens capacity of local communities; it also promotes human and social development.

At Refadim Community Empowerment, we believe the best way to make a difference is connection on grass root level so it is important for us ensure that all our projects are available for volunteers to connect with the beneficiaries in our care and contribute to our mission to improve lives through skills outreach projects and socially conscious events.
